The Südpol Cultural Centre in Lucerne wanted an artist to design the walls of its Shedhalle. Pascale Küng, Giannina Camenzind and I dedicated ourselves to this task over the summer of 2022 and came up with, as well as implemented, a wall design. In the process, we had a close look at the Südpol and the use of the Shedhalle and discovered that the use is exceptionally diverse. We set ourselves the goal not to take over the space, but to complement it and to pick up on the multifaceted use of it. We chose a wide range of colours that nevertheless reoccur. Our motifs are paths and connections, they meet and separate and meet again. Five surfaces were available in total, which allowed us to create five different graphic illustrations. The struts on the wall, the columns and the wall on the side of the bar were also painted.
