The Weltformat Graphic Design Festival is a yearly, in Lucerne occurring festival, that displays and reflects on current topics, works and discussions in the graphic design world. Every year there are multiple exhibitions, workshops and other fun events. In 2023 a few friends and I joined the Weltformat team and brought the festival magazine back to life. The festival theme for 2023 was “Life’s a Pitch” a subject every designer has an opinion on, which we wanted to reflect in our design for the magazine. The front and back cover are laughing and frowning faces because we wanted to incorporate the playfulness of the title “Life’s a Pitch” about the duality of pitches in the design. On the left pages is the English version of the article and on the right is the German one.
